Hey guys. Go check out www.hitch50.com. These 2 guys are trying to hitchhike to ALL 50 states in 50 days. They're only 3 days into their journey but already covered 6 states. They seem like 2 really cool guys. They are relying only on the kindness of strangers for rides (yes that includes Alaska and Hawaii) but they are taking arranged rides as well. So I contacted them and I'm giving them a ride from Jefferson City, MO to Topeka, KS. We're going to stop and have some BBQ of course while they're in the KC area. It's going to be great.

LOL- I can't believe you're driving from jeff city to topeka. Yo one crazy foo, daw. Hey, it's kinda on the d.l. (maybe I shouldn't be posting on your blog) but I'm flying home next week for a couple of days. Then I'll be driving Sandy's mom's car (we're buying it- 97 Acura CL 3.0) back to Cali. When are you going with the guys? If I can help out, I'm up for it. What are their dates? Maybe you can preach the Gospel like a madman the whole time, eh?
I'm sure they won't be near Missouri by next week but who knows. But we should still get together w/Sandy's brother and go TP someone. Or at least you could come see our new house!
Funny you should mention spreading the Gospel, because that was one of my main motivators for offering them a ride. I thought hey even if I just get to share my life story and talk about how far God has brought me, that's at least planting a seed. I'm pumped. I just hope it all works out.
Sweet! Hey take 'em on a detour and bring them to Defiance. They won't know what hit them. Oh, and bring me some BBQ.
And if you get them saved...bring them to Atlanta - I'll marry one of them!
You guys are all crazy! :?) If they are won to our Lord Yahooooo! But Amy...you better not make a commitment like that! What if god has some really cool guy somewhere and you miss out on that!!!!!
Well, I figure that if they both get saved...then my odds are better that he's the one! :) I'm totally kidding. (I think I just said totally). That's it - I'm dying my hair brown again.
Maybe I can take them from Topeka to Lincoln, then we can have denominational tag-team.
